Non-Contract Services

Single Call-out - no call-out fee and then up to 15 minute fault diagnosis free. After that we charge £15 per half hour or part thereof (limited to LS27 postcode and adjoining postcodes).

Work Performed at our Base - £15 per half hour or part thereof (or agreed “price for the job” rate) - please ask for an estimate.

Remote Assistance - £6 per session (max 30 minutes) - subject to appropriate software being installed on your PC.

E-mail helpdesk - first e-mail free, subsequent advice - £5 per incident

Spring Clean - we will take your PC to our base and:-

- do a thorough virus and spyware check and removal
- check and fix registry problems
- clean out temporary files and cookies
- thoroughly defragment any hard disk drives for faster access
- check memory for upgrade possibilities
- apply all Microsoft Windows and Office updates and patches
- check all other installed applications and hardware for updates
- install a free anti-virus application if you don’t already have one
- set a Restore Point (WinXP/Vista only) so you have a “fallback” position
- physically remove dust from inside the PC case
- clean the outside of the case

All this for just £45 per PC (includes FREE collection and return!)

Networking - if you have two or more PCs have you considered networking them? With a network you can share an internet connections, transfer files, share printers - and with a wireless network you are not tied to one room in the house. You can even work in the garden on your laptop (subject to signal strength). Wireless network kits start at only £80 for 2 PCs/laptops including installation. Please contact us for free advice.

Upgrades - even if your system is relatively new you might benefit from a few enhancements to take care of your growing use and collection of photos, films and files. We can advise on upgrading your PC’s hard disk, RAM, processor, CD/DVD drives, USB ports, operating system etc. At no cost we would visit your home and collect details of your PC and then provide you with a detailed quotation by e-mail giving your options.

Backups - for a small fee we can arrange to either visit your home to take secure backups, or if we have remote access to your PC we should be able to do on-line backups. Please call/e-mail for details

Data Transfers - if you have bought a new PC and need all your data and applications transferring from the old one we can help. Prices start at only £30 for a 40Gb hard disk transfer.

New PC Set-up - if you have acquired a new PC we can visit your home and set it up for you (including existing internet connections, printers, cameras and software) - our charge for this is only £35

Virus/Spyware & Adware Removal - if your computer is running slowly or acting strange you could be infected with viruses or have spyware/adware running in the background. If it is connected to a network it could be infecting other PCs! We will collect your PC and, in a safe environment, run 3 separate virus scans and 3 separate spyware/adware scans, deleting all offending items. We will then install free anti-virus and spyware applications for you and return to your house - leaving your PC guaranteed to be “clean”. All this for just £35.

Contract Services

£50 per year - includes a maximum of two 1-hour call-outs, 2 hours work at our base and 3 incidents via e-mail helpdesk

Parts, Materials, Software & Specialist Tools

We will source any such item at a competitive cost and will ensure that you have a quote with which you are happy before committing to acquire
